Wrestling Cracks InterMat Top 25, Ranked No. 21

Corvallis, Ore. – The Oregon State wrestling team cracked the top 25 in the InterMat Team Rankings, released on Tuesday, ranked No. 21.
The Beavers received votes in this week’s NWCA/USA Today Division I Coaches Poll as well.
Four Oregon State wrestlers also remain ranked in the InterMat Individual Rankings with sophomore Kelly Kubec (Lake Stevens, Wash.) leading the way at 133 pounds, ranked No. 17. Redshirt freshman Mike Mangrum (Auburn, Wash.) is still in the top 20 at 141 pounds, landing at 19th. Senior Keegan Davis (Salem, Ore.) is also ranked 19th at 157, and sophomore Clayton Jack (Vacaville, Calif.) is 18th at heavyweight.
The Beavers are coming off of an upset over then-13th ranked Wisconsin in the InterMat rankings. The Badgers fell to 22nd in this week’s poll. Oregon State fell to No. 9 Boise State, who remains steady this week.
Oregon State hosts Simon Fraser and Pacific (Ore.) on Sunday beginning at 1:00 p.m. in legendary Gill Coliseum.
