Student Athletes Gathering Canned Food for the Holiday Season

Arizona State University student athletes are partnering with St. Mary’s Food Bank to gather food donations during the Holiday Season. There will be collection sites at the Women’s Basketball game on December 4th and the Men’s Basketball game on December 12th. We need your help! We ask that you please donate any canned or non-perishable items to help us in the fight against hunger this winter.
Our first collection date will be the Women’s Basketball game on December 4th at 6:00 P.M., against Idaho State University, as part of the ASU Classic. This is also Family Weekend, so all Sun Devil fans under the age of 13, will be admitted for just $1, and adult admission is buy 1 get 1 free. Students Athletes will be at both the East and West entrances of Wells Fargo Arena to collect your items.
The second date is December 12th at 2:00 P.M., for the Men’s game against Delaware State. Tickets start at only $10. Gates open 90 minutes prior to tip off, when you can meet with your student athletes and drop off your canned food at the East, West and South entrances of Wells Fargo Arena.
