STANFORD, Calif.-- Heisman Trophy candidate Toby Gerhart, after his third 200-yard rushing performance of the year, is a nominee for AT&T's National Player of the Week, that you, the fans can help Gerhart win.
Fans can text the word 'vote' to 345345 and once they receive a text message back, can send another text message 'B' back and vote for Gerhart. Standard text messaging rates apply. Fans have until 11:59 p.m. ET on Wednesday to submit their votes. The winner will be announced during Thursday's ESPN College Football Primetime Presented by Applebee's. There is no limit to the number of text messages fans can send.

Against Notre Dame to close out the regular season, Gerhart ran for three touchdowns and threw for another en route to setting the Pac-10 single season rushing touchdown record and also establishing himself as the school's all-time touchdown leader.
He enter's the team's still unspecified Bowl Game, first in the nation with 26 rushing touchdowns and first in the nation with 1,736 yards. His 144.7 yards per game average sits at second best nationally. He has 42 career touchdowns during his four-year career.
