Dec. 3, 2009
Sophomore Katinka Hosszu broke a USC record and finished in the top three of two events while five other Trojans also reached a final on the first day of the 2009 AT&T Short Course National Championships on Thursday (Dec. 3) at the Weyerhaueser King County Aquatic Center in Federal Way, Wash.
Hosszu (4:40.87) and freshman Haley Anderson (4:40.93) finished third and fourth, respectively, in the 500y free in the meet's first individual event. Dagny Knutson was first (4:31.18, CR) while Olympian Katy Hoff was second (4:37.33).
