Women's Tennis Signs Kristie Ahn To National Letter Of Intent

STANFORD, Calif.- Stanford women's tennis head coach Lele Forood has announced the signing of Kristie Ahn to a national letter of intent, as she will join the Cardinal for the 2010-11 campaign.

A native of Upper Saddle, N.J., Ahn is rated as the No. 8 recruit nationally by TennisRecruiting.net.

  • 2009 Winner 25k (Hammond, LA)
  • 2008 U.S. Open Main Draw Qualifier, where she was the youngest player to appear in the main draw
  • 2008 Winner 10k (Houston, TX)
  • 2008 Winner 10k (Landisville, PA)

    Stanford closed out its fall season with a 5-2 win over Hawai'i in a mock dual match back on Nov. 25. The Cardinal returns to the court Jan. 16-18, with split-squad competition at the Freeman Invitational in Las Vegas, Nev., and the NCTC Classic in Indian Wells, Calif.
