Texas Tech has won all five previous meetings in the series. Tech captured last season's game, 72-62, in Lubbock, TX. The teams have met twice before in Pauley. TTU won 95-80 in Nov. 1996, despite a then-Bruin freshman school record 32 points from Maylana Martin, and 58-54 in Dec. 1985.
