Locker Earns Honorable Mention All-America

Washington's Jake Locker received honorable mention All-America recognition from Pro Football Weekly, the magazine announced today.

Locker, a junior from Ferndale, Wash., was one of seven quarterback listed for honorable mention behind Texas' Colt McCoy (PFW named only a first team and honorable mention).

Locker was the only Pac-10 quarterback selected.

In 12 games during the 2009 season, Locker threw for 2,800 yards and 21 touchdowns on 230-for-394 passing. He also rushed for 388 yards and seven scores and led the Pac-10 Conference in total offense.

On Dec. 14, Locker announced that he would not enter his name for the NFL draft and will return for the 2010 season.
