CORVALLIS - The Oregon State gymnastics program is excited to invite fans to the 2010 Pink Out Breakfast and Silent Auction, Saturday, Jan. 30. The event, which runs in conjunction with the fifth annual Pink Out gymnastics meet the night before, is hosted by the gymnastics booster club, the 10.0 Club in the Club Level of Reser Stadium.
The 2010 Pink Out Breakfast and Silent Auction, which will be held for the third consecutive year, begins with a 9 a.m. silent auction with 100 percent of the proceeds collected to be donated to The Corvallis Clinic's Project H.E.R. (Help. Enlightenment. Resources.). Click here for a Pink Out Breakfast registration form.
Project H.E.R. - Project H.E.R. is a comprehensive breast health services program available to women in Benton, Linn and Lincoln counties. The program provides awareness, education and support for all women, from the time of a breast cancer diagnosis through survivorship. The Project H.E.R. team consists of a nurse navigator, a clinical social worker, MammaCare Specialists and many volunteers who are breast cancer survivors.
Saturday's events follow the previous evening's Pink Out meet in which Oregon State hosts Stanford & Seattle Pacific, Jan. 29, at legendary Gill Coliseum at 7 p.m. The 2010 meet marks the fifth time Oregon State has teamed up with The Corvallis Clinic to help raise money and awareness for breast and cervical cancer.
Fans are encouraged to support the cause by purchasing an official Pink Out t-shirt from Beaver Authentics (link: http://www.osubeaversshop.com/) at its location in Gill Coliseum.
