Swimming Plays Host to Lewis & Clark

CORVALLIS, Ore. - The Oregon State women's swim team returns home Monday, Jan. 18 to play host to the Pioneers for Lewis & Clark College at the Stevens Natatorium on the Oregon State campus starting at 11 a.m.
Oregon State (3-6 overall, 0-4 Pac-10 Conference) returns home following a trip to the desert where it went 2-2 after dual wins against Northern Arizona and New Mexico State but falling to conference opponents Arizona and Arizona State.
The Beavers are 2-0 all-time against Lewis & Clark with the last meeting coming in a 132-37 victory in 1991.
Oregon State was last in the pool against Arizona State where Sophomore Jenni Dole and freshman Rachel O'Brien swept the backstroke and butterfly events respectively but it was not enough as the Beavers fell to the Sun Devils 154-129 at the Mona Plummer Aquatic Center in Tempe, Ariz. Senior Signe Larson added her first dual win of the season in the 200 breaststroke.
Following the meet against Lewis & Clark the Beavers will play host to Seattle University in the final home meet for Oregon State starting at 4 p.m. in the Stevens Natatorium.
