Softball Season Tickets On Sale Now

SEATTLE - Season tickets are now on sale to watch the No. 1-ranked and defending national champion Washington softball team make a run at a second straight World Series title in 2010.
This season figures to be one of the most memorable in program history as the Huskies look to successfully defend their first-ever national championship. Not only is this the final chance for fans to watch 2009 USA Softball Collegiate Player of the Year Danielle Lawrie in a Husky uniform, but it will also mark the first time night games will be played at Husky Softball Stadium.

The Huskies kick off the 2010 season on Friday, Feb. 11 at the Kajikawa Classic in Tempe, Ariz. Their first home action will be March 11-14 when they host the Husky Softball Classic. That weekend kicks off with the first-ever night game in Husky Softball history when UW hosts Miami of Ohio on Friday, March 11 at 5 p.m.
The 2010 season also features a re-vamped Pac-10 schedule, with four of the seven other conference teams visiting Husky Softball Stadium for three-game series. This year, the Huskies will host preseason No. 6/8 UCLA (April 1-3), No. 4/6 Arizona (April 9-11), Oregon State (April 30-May 2) and No. 10/12 Stanford (May 7-9).
