Stanford Women's Basketball To Wear Cardinal Road Uniforms This Saturday To Bring Awareness To Haiti Relief Efforts

STANFORD, Calif. - The No. 2/2 Stanford women's basketball team will reach out to the earthquake victims in Haiti this Saturday afternoon, Jan. 30, as it will wear its cardinal road uniforms in its 2 p.m. PT contest at Maples Pavilion against the Arizona Wildcats. Stanford also asks all fans attending the game to wear red or cardinal in a show of solidarity in bringing awareness to the plight of the people of Haiti.
During halftime of Saturday's contest, the team will be airing a video PSA promoting awareness of the situation in Haiti and also encouraging fans to donate to the ongoing relief efforts on the island.
Stanford (18-1, 8-0 Pac-10) will be looking to finish the first half of Pac-10 play undefeated Saturday afternoon when it takes on the Wildcats (9-9, 3-5 Pac-10).
