Primm Runs NCAA Qualifier In 800m At UW Invitational

Cory Primm led a trio of Bruin men on Saturday at the UW Invitational in Seattle as he ran an NCAA qualifier in the 800m.

Primm was the top collegiate finisher in the race and second overall as he ran a lifetime-best and NCAA provisional qualifier of 1:49.38.

Also on Saturday, senior Marlon Patterson finished ninth overall (third collegiate finisher) in the mile with a time of 4:05.17. Junior Scott Crawford, also competing in the mile, finished 27th in a time of 4:15.15.

The Bruins will continue the indoor season next weekend as they head to Flagstaff, AZ for the NAU Team Challenge. The meet, held February 6-7, will be the season opener for the rest of the team.
