WALNUT CREEK, Calif. - The Oregon State baseball team has been chosen to finish second in the Pacific-10 Conference in 2010 in a preseason poll of the league's coaches.

Oregon State welcomes back six starters from last season, including 2009 All-Pac-10 honorable mention selections Adalberto Santos and Jared Norris as well as Stefen Romero, who hit a team-leading five home runs last season. OSU also returns the services of weekend starters Sam Gaviglio, a 2009 Freshman All-American, and Tyler Waldron, as well as closer Kevin Rhoderick and middle reliever Kraig Sitton, who was selected in the 17th round of the Major League Baseball First-Year Player Draft in June but did not sign.
