Huskies Want Fans To 'Paint The Bank Pink'

SEATTLE - Fans coming to Bank of America Arena for Sunday's game against Cal need to 'Paint The Bank Pink.'
In an effort to raise awareness for breast cancer, the Washington Huskies are using Valentine's Day for their annual Pink Zone game. Sunday's tip-off is scheduled for 2 p.m. at Bank of America Arena.
The awareness initiative stems from the Women's Basketball Coaches Association's Pink Zone program, and fans are encouraged to wear pink clothing and accessories to Sunday's game.
The Huskies will be sporting pink uniforms for the game.Fans in attendance will receive a pink ribbon, the internationally recognized symbol for breast cancer awareness.
In addition, the American Cancer Society, Team Survivor Northwest and Northwest Healing and Hope will be onsite at Bank of America supporting the cause.Also, the first 100 fans will be able to receive autographs from select women's basketball student-athletes after the game.
In addition, Husky great Lisa Oriard will be honored during the Cal game as a 'Husky Legend.' Oriard scored 1,151 points for the Dawgs during her time as a letterwinner from 1984-1988.
