Former Bear Charlie Wi Shots Four Over Par on Second Day of AT&T

PEBBLE BEACH - Former Cal men's golf Charlie Wi shot a four over par score of 74 at Monterey Peninsula Country Club Shore Course on the second of action Friday at the 2010 AT&T Pebble Beach National Pro-Am. Wi fell to even par for the tournament and dropped 82 places into a tie for 99th place with a two-day even-par showing. Wi entered the second round of play only four shots off the lead after an opening-round four-under par 68 on Thursday at the Pebble Beach Golf Links.
He played his first nine holes Friday at one-under par but shot a 39 over his final nine holes with his lone birdie being offset by two bogies and two double-bogeys.Six players - Alex Cejka, Paul Goydos, J.B. Holmes, Dustin Johnson, Matt Jones and Bryce Molder - are tied for the tournament lead at 10-under par through 36 holes.
Action will continue Saturday with the 60 pros and 25 teams posting the lowest 54-hole scores through Saturday's action advancing to Sunday's final round at Pebble Beach.
