The No. 10 California Golden Bears play in their second tournament in a week, this time heading down to the Stanford Golf Course to compete in the Peg Barnard Invitational, Feb. 13-14. This is the first of two Bay Area tournaments the Bears will play in during the spring portion of their schedule.

The 36-hole, 11-team event will feature shotgun starts on Saturday at 9:00a.m. and Sunday at 8:00 a.m. Admission is free. The tournament is named after Peg Barnard, a tireless fundraiser for women's athletics at Stanford before the women's and men's programs merged in the late 1970's.

Joining host Stanford in this year's field are teams from California, Fresno State, Hawaii, Long Beach State, Oregon, San Jose State, Santa Clara Texas, UC Davis, and Washington.

Live scoring will not be available for the event. Scores will be posted on CalBears.com.
