No. 9 Men's Tennis Coasts Past No. 30 Fresno State 4-0

CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. -- No. 9 Stanford blanked No. 30 Fresno State on Saturday afternoon in a consolation round match at the ITA National Team Indoor Championships in Charlottesville, Va.

The Cardinal (5-1) rebounded from a 4-0 loss to No. 8 Texas yesterday.

Stanford took the doubles point by winning on courts two and three, and Alex Clayton clinched the shutout with a 6-3, 6-2 victory at the No. 2 spot.

The Cardinal faces Kentucky on Sunday at 9 a.m. PT.
