HONOLULU, Hawai'i - The Cardinal softball team picked up two more wins in the Paradise Softball Classic in Honolulu, Hawai'i on Friday at the Rainbow Wahine Softball Stadium. Stanford improves to 3-0 with wins over McNeese State, 9-0 in five innings, and Hawai'i, 2-0, to become the No. 1 seed in the tournament for Saturday's games. No. 11/12 Bears Rebound With 3-1 Win Over Wisconsin
TEMPE, Ariz. - The No. 11/12 California softball team ended the first day of play in 2010 with a 3-1 win against Wisconsin on Friday afternoon at 3-1 at the Kajikawa Classic. The Golden Bears (1-1) defeated the Badgers in Cal's second game of the 2010 campaign. Freshman Lindsey Ziegenhirt got Cal on the board with her second homer of the day and Shannon Thomas and Jolene Henderson had key RBI to further distance the Bears in their win.  [Read More]

No. 5 Softball Brings A Lightning Storm To the Scoreboard in Day Two of Kajikawa Classic
TEMPE, Ariz. - The fifth-ranked Sun Devil Softball team returned to form on Friday afternoon with some two-out lightning as they scored 11 of their 28 runs on the day with two outs on the board as they topped Portland State 14-0 and Auburn 14-2, both in five innings, to close out Day Two of the Kajikawa Classic. Hillary Bach collected a one-hit complete game shutout against the Vikings to go 2-0 on the season while Megan Elliott won the nightcap to push her record to 1-1 as ASU finishes Day Two with a 3-1 overall record.
