No. 13 California Heads to Arizona for the Wildcat Invitational

The No. 13 women's golf team heads down to Tucson to play in the Wildcat Invitational. The two-day, 54-hole tournament gets underway Monday, Feb. 22.

The 16-team tournament will take place at the par 71, 6,146 yards course at the Arizona National Golf Club in Tucson. Cal comes into the tourney after a second-place finish at last week's Stanford Invitational. This is the third tournament in 16 days for the Bears. The competition lasts two days, Feb. 22-23, with the first and second rounds being played on Monday and the final 18 on Tuesday. The field for the tournament includes Arizona, Arizona State, Auburn, California, Denver, Duke, New Mexico, Oklahoma State, Oregon, Pepperdine, Stanford, Tennessee, Tulane, UNLV, USC, and Washington.

Cal's projected lineup: 1. Joanne Lee, 2. Emily Childs, 3. Daniela Holmqvist, 4. Pia Halbig, and 5. Roseanne Niven.
