Arizona (7-1): The Wildcats saw their three-game series with Missouri shortened because of weather, but came out with a split after a doubleheader on Sunday...FR Baillie Kirker accounted for all of Arizona's runs with a pair of homeruns against Missouri to win the first game of the double header 5-0...FR P Kenzie Fowler threw a two-hit shutout in the win over the Tigers...SR P Sarah Akamine tossed her first career solo no-hitter against Western Michigan on Feb. 12...The Wildcats are ranked No. 2 in both national polls for the second-straight week.
Arizona State (9-2): SO IF Katelyn Boyd hit .533 with three doubles, five RBI, two home runs and six runs scored to help lead the Sun Devils to the Littlewood Classic title...She had a .611 on-base percentage and a 1.133 slugging percentage...SR Megan Elliott threw a no-hitter against Rutgers, facing only 22 batters en route to a 19-0 win in five innings.
California (7-3): JR Valerie Arioto helped the Bears in the circle and at the plate this weekend...In a 4-1 win over then-No. 9 Georgia Tech, Arioto pitched a complete game, facing just four batters over the minimum and fanning nine...At the plate, Arioto cracked a three-run homer to put the Bears ahead of the Yellow Jackets...Frani Echavarria leads the Bears in batting (.483) and SO Jamia Reid has 17 hits to lead the squad.
Oregon (8-4): FR OF Samantha Pappas led the Ducks in nearly every offensive category during the Louisville Slugger Desert Classic, including hitting (.619), hits (13), runs (7), home runs (3), RBI (11) and walks (4)...FR P Jessica Moore, in her second weekend of collegiate play, tallied a seven-inning complete game against Cal State Fullerton where she fanned five and allowed only one hit...he leads the team in wins (3), strikeouts (40) and starts (7) on the year.
Oregon State (4-6): SO P Paige Hall tied the school record of doubles in a game with two against Louisiana-Monroe...Hall saw her nine-game hit streak snapped against Mississippi State on Feb. 21...SR Kelly Dyer earned the win against Louisiana-Monroe after throwing six full innings of relief, with three strikeouts, allowing only three hits.
Stanford (8-1): The Cardinal earned four wins over the weekend at the Stanford
Nike Invitational...SR Alissa Haber hit .53 on 7-12 hitting to score four runs and tally eight RBI...On the weekend Haber recorded a 1.000 slugging percentage and a .643 on base percentage to lead the team...FR P Tegan Gerhart earned two wins over the weekend to stay undefeated on the season at 4-0...Gerhart threw 14.0 innings while allowing five hits and one earned run to give her a 0.000 ERA for the weekend...She pitched two complete games, including a 1-0 shutout of Sacramento State...Against UC Riverside,
Gerhart registered a season-high seven strikeouts.
UCLA (10-1): The Bruins are currently on a eight-game win streak, after going 7-0 last weekend...JR GiOnna DiSalvatore and JR Donna Kerr were named Pac-10 Player and Pac-10 Pitcher of the Week for their efforts...DiSalvatore went 15-for-22 with a .682 batting average to lead the Bruins...For the week, she had a 1.182 slugging percentage and a .708 on-base percentage...Kerr leads the squad with a 5-0 record with a 0.61 ERA and 43 strikeouts in 43 innings...Against Cal State Northridge on Feb. 19, Kerr tied a season high with 11 strikeouts.
Washington (7-1): SR P Danielle Lawrie went 2-0 on the weekend at the rain-shortened San Diego Carter Cartier Classic...Lawrie became Washington's all-time career wins leader with her 100th and 101st victories...She threw a one-hit shutout with 11 strikeouts over San Diego State and also allowed just two hits and one run in a win over UC Santa Barbara...On the season, Lawrie is 5-0 in the circle with four shut outs, to go along with 65 strikeouts and just two walks in 33.0 innings...SO Niki Williams batted .556 (5-for-9) over the weekend, driving in three runs.
