Wildcats prepare to take on the conference

LONG BEACH, Calif. – The Wildcats Swimming and Diving teams will compete this week and next week at the 2010 Pac-10 Swimming and Diving Championships.
The women’s swimming competition will be held in Long Beach, California at the Belmont Plaza Olympic Pool from Feb. 24 to Feb. 27. The championships will start off with the 200 medley relay and the 800 freestyle relay on Wednesday. The championships will continue until Saturday. Competing against the Wildcats will be Arizona State, California, Oregon State, Stanford, USC, UCLA and Washington State.
The Arizona Men’s and Women’s Diving team has traveled to Federal Way, Washington to compete at the Weyerhaeuser King County Aquatic Complex. Day One will kick off Thursday with the women’s one-meter and men’s three-meter events. Friday’s events will include the men’s one-meter and women’s three-meter events. The championships will conclude Saturday with the platform events. The Wildcats will compete against Arizona State, California, Stanford, UCLA and USC.
Beginning next week on Wednesday, March 3, the Wildcats will compete at the Pac-10 Men’s Swimming Championships in Long Beach. The events will run Wednesday through Saturday, March 6.
