Caitlin Leverenz Breaks Her School Record in the 400 IM on Day 3 of Pac-10 Championships

LONG BEACH, Calif. - Caitlin Leverenz broke her own school record in the 400-yard individual medley and helped California hold on to second place in the standings after the third day of the Pac-10 Women's Swimming Championships on Friday at the Belmont Plaza Olympic Pool. Also contributing tonight was Golden Bears freshman diver Kelsey Heiken, who took eighth place in the three-meter springboard final on the second day of the Pac-10 Diving Championships on Friday at the Weyerhaeuser King County Aquatic Complex in Federal Way, Wash. Cal has 921 points, while Stanford leads the conference championships with 988 points. USC is third with 842.5 points.
