Men's Golf Ranked 10th In First Spring Poll

The men's golf team has been ranked 10th in the first Golf World/Nike Golf Division 1 Coaches' Poll of the 2010 spring season.

The Sun Devils began the spring season with a sixth place finish at the Battle at the Beach in Newport Beach, Calif. Junior Jesper Kennegard led ASU, which finished at 9-over par, with a 5-under par 208 and placed eighth.

Oklahoma State, who ended the 2009 fall season in first place, held onto the top spot, followed by Stanford, Washington, Florida and Texas A&M. In all, eight Pac-10 teams are ranked in the top-25, including three in the top-10.
