Baseball's Game Sunday To Now Start At 3 P.M.
March 9, 2010
CORVALLIS, Ore. - The Oregon State baseball team announced Tuesday that its game with Portland Sunday has been moved to a 3 p.m. PT start.
The first game of the day Sunday, featuring Utah and Portland, will now start at 11 a.m. to help the Utes maintain their current travel schedule. Should the first game Sunday go more than three hours, the Oregon State game will start approximately 45 minutes after completion.
Friday and Saturday's games are still scheduled for 2 p.m. and 6 p.m., respectively. OSU will face Utah Friday night at 6 p.m., then squares off against the Utes Saturday at 2 p.m. The Beavers will play their first of two doubleheaders this season Saturday when they then take on Portland at 6 p.m.
Utah and Portland kick off the OSU Spring Tournament Friday at 2 p.m.
Admission for the two Utah-Portland games will be free. Fans must have tickets for Oregon State games. Any fans who attend the Portland-Utah games may stay in the stadium after that game's completion, but should have their tickets ready to be checked in between games.
Also, separate tickets will be needed for Saturday's doubleheader. For fans who have tickets to both, a wristband will be issued at the gate at Goss Stadium. Only wristbands need to be presented when tickets are checked in between games.
Each of the four Oregon State games will be available live on the Beaver Sports Radio Network and Beaver Nation Online (osubeavers.com).
