Cats Descend Upon W. Lafayette

WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. – The No. 4—ranked Wildcats arrived into West Lafayette late Monday evening and have begun their preparations for the NCAA Championships, which will commence on Thursday.
UA departed Tucson yesterday morning, changed planes in Dallas, landed in Indianapolis, drove to West Lafayette and managed to sneak in an evening swim in the competition pool at Purdue before heading off to bed.
Today’s activities include becoming acclimated to the pool and facility and touching up any last minute relay take-offs and wall push-offs. Most all other teams have arrived by today including Cal, Stanford, Georgia and Florida. Arizona qualified the most amount of swimmers to the meet with 18 representatives.
Tonight the women’s team will again take to the Boilermaker Aquatic Center for an evening swim before a team dinner.
