Ellison Re-Signs with Buffalo Bills
March 30, 2010
Former Oregon State linebacker Keith Ellison signed his tender with the Buffalo Bills Monday after reporting for voluntary offseason workouts.
Ellison, who was a restricted free agent, led the Bills in tackles last season through 10 games before being placed on injured reserve with a quad injury.
Ellison was selected in the sixth round of the 2006 NFL Draft by the Bills and started eight games his rookie year. He is heading into his fifth year as a pro, all with the Bills. He has started 30 games in his career with 245 tackles, two sacks and two interceptions.
The Bills have three former Beavers on their roster for the 2010 campaign. Joining Ellison is second year offensive lineman Andy Levitre and newly signed defensive end Dwan Edwards, a seven-year NFC veteran.
