Spring Game Tickets Available Now

CORVALLIS - Beaver Nation, are you ready for some football? Bring your friends and family to the Oregon State University campus Saturday, May 1. Catch a glimpse of the cannon arms of Ryan Katz and Peter Lalich, see if Tony Wilson is ready to take over the middle of the defense, try to gauge just how much faster and quicker football players-turned sprinters James Rodgers and Markus Wheaton are, even catch a volleyball exhibition match. And don't forget to grab autographs from the football and volleyball squads.
The action-packed day begins at 10 a.m. with the opening of Fan Fair at Parker Plaza and the Beaver Authentics autograph session (open until 11 a.m.) at Reser Stadium. The Spring Game, presented by Azumano Travel, 'kicks off' at 12:15 p.m. with admission $5 - free for OSU students with student identification and for kids 12 and under. Fans will receive a free spring game poster (while supplies last). General admission tickets are available for purchase now at legendary Gill Coliseum or on game day at the stadium; GA tickets permit access to the Club Level or the east side seating areas - the remainder of the stadium will be closed. Tickets are NOT available over the phone or via the Internet.
Prior to partaking in the football experience fans are invited to cross the street to catch the OSU volleyball team take on Western Oregon in an exhibition at 10 a.m. at legendary Gill Coliseum. The volleyball team will sign autographs following the match at 11:30 a.m. inside Gill. Admission for the volleyball match is free.
For fans stuck at home, on the road or in another country you can still get in on the fun. KPAM 860 in Portland and 1240 Joe Radio (KEJO) in the mid-Willamette Valley will have pre-Spring Game analysis from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. with Ron Callan and Jim Wilson providing their thoughts and live interviews from the field. At 12:30, the broadcast will switch over to Mike Parker, who will cover the full baseball game as the Beavers take on California, with live audio and video will also be available to Beaver Nation Online subscribers, the official audio/visual home of OSU Athletics, for the remainder of the Spring Game.
There is a lot of fun to be had. So get out to Reser Stadium, Saturday, May 1.
OSU Spring Football practices are scheduled for Monday, Wednesday and Friday from March 29 - April 28 beginning at 3 p.m. The spring season culminates with the Spring Game, May 1 at Reser Stadium at 12:15 p.m. Tickets for the Spring Game can be purchased now at the OSU Ticket Office in Room 107 of Gill Coliseum. There are no phone or Internet sales available for the Spring Game.
