Randle and Christopher to Play in 2010 Reese's College All-Star Game

BERKELEY - California guards Jerome Randle and Patrick Christopher will participate in the 2010 Reese's College All-Star game on Friday, April 2, as announced by the The National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC). The all-senior contest will be played as part of Final Four weekend at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis, Ind. Tip-off is scheduled for 1:35 p.m. (PT) and the game will be televised by CBS College Sports.
Randle and Christopher will play on the Reese's All-Star team, which will be wearing the orange uniforms. They will be coached by former Purdue head coach Gene Keady. Former Indiana State head coach Bill Hodges, who led the Sycamores and Larry Bird to the 1979 NCAA Championship game, is the coach of the Hershey's All-Star team (dark uniforms).
Among Randle and Christopher's teammates are fellow Pac-10 seniors Michael Roll (UCLA) and Eric Boateng (Arizona State). Berkeley native and UC Davis forward Dominic Calegari will also be on the squad.
Randle, who was recently named to the AP All-American honorable mention list, will also be one of eight competitors participating in the Ford 3-Point Shooting contest during Final Four weekend. The competition is part of the 22nd Annual State Farm College Slam Dunk and Three Point Championships. The event takes place Thursday, April 1, at the Indiana Convention Center and will be televised on ESPN from 6-8 p.m. (PT).
