Lauren Greif Named First Team Pac-10 All-Academic

Senior guard Lauren Greif was named to the Pac-10 All-Academic first team in honors announced by the Conference. Junior guard Rachelle Federico earned an honorable mention. To be eligible for selection to the academic team, a student-athlete must have a minimum 3.0 overall grade-point average and be either a starter or significant contributor.
Greif, a psychology major with a 3.58 cumulative GPA, was a first team Pac-10 All-Academic selection as a junior and a second team member as a sophomore. Greif is joined by Oregon's Amanda Johnson, USC's Danielle Roark, UCLA's Allison Taka, and Oregon State's Kirsten Tilleman on the first team. Stanford's Jayne Appel and JJ Hones, Oregon State's Julie Futch, Arizona State's Danielle Orsillo, and UCLA's Erica Tukiainen were all named to the second team.
Rachelle Federico was one of 20 Pac-10 players earning an honorable mention.
