Cal Baseball Shuts Out No. 18 Arizona, 8-0

BERKELEY -

Behind the outstanding pitching of freshman left-hander Justin Jones, the California baseball team shut out No. 18 Arizona, 8-0, in the second game of the three-game Pac-10 series at Evans Diamond. Jones threw 8.0 innings with four hits, no runs, no walks and five strikeouts to improve his record to 6-2 and boost the Bears' record to 15-10 and 2-3 in conference play.

Cal continues a Saturday doubleheader against the Wildcats to conclude the series.
