Cal Baseball Sweeps No. 18 Arizona
BERKELEY -The Cal baseball team utilized solid pitching and clutch hitting in securing a sweep of No. 18 Arizona, winning both games of a doubleheader, 8-0 and 4-3, Saturday (April 3) at Evans Diamond. The Golden Bears improved their overall record to 16-10 overall, and more importantly, evened their Pac-10 record to 3-3. The Wildcats, who came into the series with a Pac-10 leading .372 team-batting average, dropped to 20-8 and 2-4 in league play. Cal had captured Friday's game, 7-2. [Read more]

#1 ASU Rallies Back From Early Deficit To Take Series From Oregon 7-3
EUGENE, Ore.After a five and a half hour, 12-inning loss the night before, the #1 Sun Devils faced a short turnaround and bad weather once again in Eugene for the series finale on Saturday. After spotting the Ducks a 3-0 lead in the first, ASU battled back to earn a 7-3 win over Oregon and clinch the Pac-10 series at PK Park. LOS ANGELES - Left-hander Rob Rasmussen (4-0) tallied eight strikeouts and no walks through six innings, leading the No. 6 UCLA baseball team past No. 19 Stanford, 7-5, on Saturday before 1,614 at Steele Field at Jackie Robinson Stadium.
