Heavy rains forced the suspension of play just after 12 p.m. during the first round of the U.S. Intercollegiate at the Stanford (Calif.) G.C. on Sunday (April 11) with the USC men's golf team holding steady in the upper half of the leaderboard.

The first round is scheduled to resume at 9 a.m. Monday. USC players had completed little more than half of the course when the action stopped Sunday.

Junior Matt Giles and sophomore Steve Lim were tied for 10th at par while freshmen T.J. Vogel and Martin Trainer were tied for 44th at 3-over. Junior Bo DeHuff was 8-pver. Results are still unofficial at this point.
