No. 7 Stanford Rolls Past No. 73 San Francisco 7-0

STANFORD, Calif.- No. 7 Stanford posted its third consecutive shutout and sixth straight win overall, blanking No. 73 San Francisco 7-0 on Wednesday afternoon at the Taube Family Tennis Stadium.

The Cardinal is now 17-5 overall while the Dons drop to 11-6.

Stanford swept all three doubles matches to claim a 1-0 lead, surrendering just six games combined in the process.

The onslaught continued in singles, with all six players posting straight-set victories. Leading the group was Ryan Thacher, who defeated Thai Tu 6-4, 6-3 while playing at the No. 1 spot for the first time in his career.

Stanford faces No. 13 California in Berkeley on Saturday at 1 p.m. in the regular season finale for both teams.
