No. 5 UCLA Baseball Adds Home Game May 18 Versus UC Santa Barbara

April 20, 2010

LOS ANGELES - The No. 5 UCLA baseball team has added one home game against UC Santa Barbara to its regular-season schedule. The Bruins will host the Gauchos at Steele Field at Jackie Robinson Stadium on Tuesday, May 18 at 6 p.m.

The single-game addition will make up for UCLA's previously-rained out contest against Oklahoma State, as part of the inaugural Dodgertown Classic, on Saturday, Feb. 27. Adding the game against UC Santa Barbara on May 18 will allow the Bruins to play a true 56-game regular-season schedule.

Tickets for the game against UC Santa Barbara will cost $2, as part of UCLA's ongoing 'Two-Dollar Tuesday' promotion. The game will include a live audio broadcast, available at uclabruins.com, in addition to GameTracker, which allows fans to follow pitch-by-pitch action of the ballgame at uclabruins.com.

Including the added contest against UC Santa Barbara, the Bruins have 12 home games remaining in 2010.

UCLA returns to action against Long Beach State this evening at Jackie Robinson Stadium. Game time is 6 p.m.
