No. 15 Cal Baseball Defeats Pacific, 13-6

Junior first baseman Mark Canha hit a grand slam in the third inning and five different players had multiple hits as No. 15-ranked California defeated Pacific, 13-6, Wednesday (April 21) at Evans Diamond. The Golden Bears, who finished with 13 hits against six different Tiger pitchers, improved to 23-11 overall. Pacific, which was plagued by five errors, dropped to 22-13. The winning pitcher for Cal was junior reliever Brian Diemer, who improved his record to 1-1, throwing 4.0 innings with four hits, one earned run, one walk and five strikeouts.
