No. 18 Cal Baseball Falls, 11-9, at Washington State

PULLMAN, WASH. -

Junior first baseman Mark Canha went 3-4 with a two-run homer, a three-run homer and a career-high seven RBI, but it wasn't enough for California to comeback from Washington State's nine-run sixth inning as the Golden Bears fell to the Cougars, 11-9, Sunday (May 9) at Bailey-Brayton Field in Pullman. Cal dropped to 27-17 overall and 11-9 in Pac-10 play, while WSU improved to 24-17 and 8-9 in league. The Cougars had defeated the Bears, 13-10, on Saturday. The two teams play the third game of the series Monday, May 10 at 12 p.m.
