Three Additional 2010 Cal Football National Telecasts Announced

BERKELEY - Three additional 2010 Cal football games against Colorado, USC and Stanford have been selected for national telecasts on Fox Sports Net, the Pacific-10 Conference and its television network partners announced Tuesday. Game time for all three contests is 12:30 p.m. PT.
The Golden Bears will host Colorado on Saturday, Sept. 11, travel to face USC in the Los Angeles Coliseum on Saturday, Oct. 16, and play Stanford in The Big Game at Memorial Stadium on Saturday, Nov. 20.
The trio of televised contests brings the number of 2010 television broadcast announcements for Cal to four. The Bears' game at Nevada on Friday, Sept. 17 (7:00 p.m. PT) was previously selected for a national broadcast by ESPN2.
Game times and television information for other contests on the 2010 Cal football schedule will be released when available. Additional preseason selections by FSN/Versus are expected in early June, while other games are expected to be picked up by for telecasts at later dates.
The Bears have had 38 of 39 games televised live over the past three seasons and a total of 85 Cal football contests have been on television during Jeff Tedford's first eight seasons as head coach.
Cal opens its 2010 campaign with a home game vs. UC Davis on Saturday, Sept. 4.The team's seven-game home schedule in the final season with the current configuration of Memorial Stadium also includes visits from Arizona State, Colorado, Oregon, Stanford, UCLA and Washington.
