No. 25 Cal Baseball Topped by No. 10 UCLA, 11-2

May 23, 2010

Senior catcher Eddie Hsieh hit his first home run as a Golden Bear on Senior Day, but that was one of the few highlights for Cal as it fell to No. 10-ranked UCLA, 11-2, in the final game of a three-game Pac-10 series Sunday (May 23) at Evans Diamond. The Bears dipped to 27-21 overall, 11-13 in conference after losing Friday's contest, 8-7, and Saturday's game, 12-4. The Bruins improved to 41-11 and 16-8 in league. It was the final home game of the 2010 season for Cal, which travels to Pacific on Tuesday before visiting Oregon for the final Pac-10 series, May 28-30, in Eugene.
