Three UCLA Women's Rowers Earn CRCA All-West Region Honors

LOS ANGELES - UCLA's Alexandra Bolt and Alaizah Koorji have earned first-team CRCA All-West Region honors, and Britta Syverson has secured second-team All-West Region acclaim, as announced this week by the Collegiate Rowing Coaches Association.
This marks the first-ever All-West Region selections for Bolt, Koorji and Syverson.
In addition, five members of the UCLA women's rowing team have been named CRCA Scholar-Athletes - seniors Lynn Hancock and Christina Sprouse, juniors Alaizah Koorji and sophomores Anna Musky-Goldwyn and Taylor Vella. Hancock, and Sprouse have earned scholar-athlete honors for the third consecutive season, while Koorji has attained the honor for the second time in as many years.
Ranked No. 13 in the latest top-20 USRowing collegiate poll, the UCLA women's rowing team departs for the NCAA Championships in Sacramento on Wednesday, before competition begins Friday morning.
This season is the first year in program history in which the UCLA women's rowing program has earned a team selection to the NCAA Championships.
