Hilary Barte, Lindsay Burdette In Contention At NCAA's

ATHENS, Ga.- Hilary Barte has reached the quarterfinal round of the 2010 NCAA Women's Tennis Championships, comfortably winning her third straight match.

Barte defeated Mississippi's Kristi Boxx 6-3, 6-2 in the round of 16 on Friday afternoon. Barte has yet to surrender more than three games during any of her six sets in the singles tournament.

Barte will battle Miami's Bianca Eichkorn on Saturday at 9 a.m. PT in the quarterfinals.

Barte and partner Lindsay Burdette were just as dominant in doubles, picking up a 6-3, 6-2 win over Alabama's Alexa Guarachi and Courtney McLane.

Stanford's duo will take on Baylor's Lenka Broosova and Csilla Borsanyi on Saturday at 2 p.m. PT.
