Stanford Announces 2010 Super Spikers Clinic Dates

STANFORD, Calif. - Stanford women's volleyball welcomes all kids K-8th grade to participate in the 2010 Super Spikers Volleyball Clinic on August 22 and September 5 on the Stanford campus. Instruction will be provided by the 2010 Stanford women's volleyball team.
The clinic runs from 12 p.m. to 3 p.m. at a cost of $20 per clinic. The clinics will both focus on ball control, spiking, passing, setting, serving, digging and blocking. The August 22 clinic will be held at Burnham Pavilion, while the September 5 clinic will be at Maples Pavilion. For an additional $10, kids who attend the September 5 clinic can stick around and enjoy a BBQ with the team from 3-4 p.m.
Both clinics will be preceded by a Stanford women's volleyball scrimmage at 10 a.m. All participants will receive a free Super Spikers t-shirt.
Team Cardinal is the official kids fan club of the 2010 Stanford women's volleyball team. For a $20 membership fee, kids get a 2010 Team Cardinal t-shirt, free admission to all Stanford women's volleyball matches, all men's soccer games, Stanford football vs. Sacramento State (9/4) and Washington State (10/23), a men's basketball game (TBA), all women's soccer games except versus Portland, all women's basketball games except versus Connecticut and all baseball games except for Fireworks night. Members will also receive notice of clinics offered by all Stanford sports teams.
