Sun Devil Sanford Finishes as National Runner-up in 400m Dash
EUGENE, Ore.
– The third day of action at the 2010 NCAA Outdoor Track & Field Championships was once again a solid day of competition for the Arizona State University program as a pair of sprint individuals placed among the Top 5 in the nation to lead the Sun Devils at the meet being held at Hayward Field in Eugene, Ore. Donald Sanford was the top finisher on the day for ASU as he was the national runner-up in the 400m dash while Jasmine Chaney took fifth in the women’s 400m hurdle final. [Read more]

Cal's Mike Morrison Finishes as NCAA Runner-Up in Decathlon
EUGENE, Ore. - With a surge in the final three events, California junior Mike Morrison vaulted into second place in the decathlon, while junior Steve Sodaro earned All-America honors with a sixth-place finish in the 3000-meter steeplechase on the third day of the NCAA Track & Field Championships Friday at Oregon's Hayward Field. OSU's Bishop Ties for Ninth; Earns All-America Status in High Jump
Eugene, Ore. Freshman Jordan Bishop (West Salem, Ore.) continued to make his run in the 2010 NCAA Division Outdoor Track and Field Championships even more memorable as the high jumper finished tied for ninth, earning All-America status in front of a crowd of 11,972 at Hayward Field on Friday afternoon. USC's Wijesekara, Henderson, Hughes & Wyatt Earn All-America Honors
EUGENE, ORE. - Manjula Wijesekara in the high jump, Trey Henderson in the hammer throw, Joey Hughes in the 400m and Reggie Wyatt in the 400m intermediate hurdles all earned All-America honors today (June 11) to lead USC at the 2010 NCAA Track & Field Championships hosted by Oregon at Hayward Field in Eugene, Ore. before 11,972 fans, a new NCAA Championship record. After three days of competition, the Trojan men are in third place with 26.5 points, while the women's team finished without a point for the first time since the 1981 season. [Read more]

Nasty Spill Derails UW's  Taiwo In NCAA Decathlon
EUGENE, Ore. -
The Huskies were hit by misfortune from the very start of the third day of the NCAA Outdoor Championships, as sophomore Jeremy Taiwo took a hard fall in the 110-meter hurdles and was unable to finish his first NCAA decathlon after coming into the final day ranked sixth. Senior Zack Midles then concluded his career in the men's hammer throw with an 18th-place finish. [Read more]

- The University of Arizona's women's track and field team has already scored more points at the 2010 NCAA Outdoor Championships than it did at all the championship meets between 2003 and 2006 combined.
