The Ducks, under the direction of sixth-year head coach Tara Erickson returns 13 letterwinners and eight starters from the 2009 squad and that continuity should have a big upside for Oregon in 2010. Senior forward Jen Stoltenberg and junior goalkeeper Cody Miles are making their marks on the Oregon career charts and should continue to do so in 2010. Stoltenberg ranks third all-time in career points (55), third in assists (13), fourth in shots (153) and tied for fourth in goals (21) and is coming off a 2010 season where she set an Oregon single-season record of 26 points on 10 goals and six assists. Miles is tied for second in career shutouts (11), third in goalkeeper wins (18) and fifth in saves (120). She started 13 games in 2009 and made 46 saves and tallied five shutouts. She will be looked to as a key anchor of the Duck defense. Sophomore midfielder Scout Libke was a 2009 Pac-10 All-Freshman team honoree after a strong freshman campaign where she started all 20 games for the Ducks and netted three goals and six assists.

The Ducks have a tough stretch in the middle of the season, facing perennial powerhouse Portland on the road, right before the start of Pac-10 play and the Civil War matchup with Oregon State on Oct. 8. The Ducks get the Beavers at home this year, and will look to avenge the 2-0 loss they suffered last season.

#20, Jen Stoltenberg
Sr., F, Mission Viejo, Calif.
Stoltenberg led the Ducks with 10 goals in 2009 and will again be looked to as the go-to goal scorer in 2010. She was named Honorable Mention All-Pac-10 and started 20 matches and ranked fourth in the Conference with six game-winning goals. In the Ducks' all-time record book, Stoltenberg is third in school history for career assists (13) and shots (153). She ranks tied for third with four multi-goal games, fourth in points (49) and fifth in goals (19). The Mission Viejo, Calif., native has been a consistent player for the Ducks throughout her career, being honored as All-Pac-10 Honorable Mention as a sophomore in 2008, scoring 10 goals and tying a the school's single-season record of 25 points. As a freshman in 2007, she saw action in all 20 games.
