Golden Bears Try To Clinch Pac-10 Title
Entering the final week of Pac-10 play, CALIFORNIA continues to stand atop the Conference standings with 22 points while UCLA is one point behind. The Golden Bears can clinch the Pac-10 title and the Conference's automatic berth into the NCAA Tournament with a win over Stanford on Thursday. A Cal loss or tie would put the Bruins in position to win the Conference with a win at SAN DIEGO STATE on Saturday. OREGON STATE hosts WASHINGTON on Friday in the third match-up of the week. The Conference has two teams ranked in the NSCAA poll this week. Cal remains at No. 8 and UCLA climbed to No. 9. Washington received votes. After this weekend's play, Pac-10 squads will await the NCAA men's soccer selection show, which will take place Monday, Nov. 15 at 1:30 p.m. PT on ESPNU.
