Defense Takes Cats Past UW, 61-58
TUCSON - University of Arizona Wildcat women's basketball won its eighth home game of the season and broke a three-game skid with a 61-58 victory over the Washington Huskies Thursday night at McKale Center. Arizona improves to 12-5 overall and 3-3 in Pac-10 play. The Huskies fall to 7-9 overall and 2-5 in Pac-10 play.

Cougars Score Third Win In Last Four Games with Victory at Arizona State
TEMPE, Ariz. - Ireti Amojo and Jazmine Perkins scored 16 points each and Sage Romberg added 12 to lead the Washington State Cougars to a 70-65 win over the Arizona State Sun Devils, Thursday at Wells Fargo Arena.

Women of Troy Take A Loss At Cal
BERKELEY, CALIF. - The USC women's basketball team saw plenty of its shots fall but came up well short on the boards to fall out of reach of host California down the stretch, taking an 82-71 loss to the Bears on Thursday night at Haas Pavilion. USC goes to 12-5 overall and 4-2 in Pac-10 play with the road loss, and Cal improves to 11-6, 3-3.

STANFORD, Calif. (AP) - Kayla Pedersen had 18 points and 10 rebounds and No. 4 Stanford ran its home winning streak at Maples Pavilion to 55 games with a surprisingly lopsided 64-38 victory over eighth-ranked UCLA on Thursday night.
