Five Pac-10 Teams Ranked in USA Today/ESPN Top 25 Preseason Coaches' Poll

WALNUT CREEK, Calif. - Five Pac-10 baseball teams are ranked in the USA Today/ESPN Top 25 Preseason Coaches' Poll, released Thursday. UCLA, the 2010 NCAA runner-up, received 741 points and nine first-place votes to take the poll's top spot.

Tenth-ranked OREGON joins the Bruins in the poll's top 10. ARIZONA STATE comes in at No. 12, followed by No. 16 STANFORD and No. 25 ARIZONA. WASHINGTON STATE, OREGON STATE and CALIFORNIA received votes.

Eight Pac-10 teams earned postseason bids in 2010, the most in Conference history. The 2011 season begins on Friday, February 18, with nine teams in action.
