Freshmen Fuel Doubleheader Sweep for #6 UCLA
SAN DIEGO, Calif. - Freshman Kellie Fox had a two-run homer and a solo bomb in the Bruins' first game on Saturday, driving in four of the team's seven runs in the doubleheader, while freshman Jessica Hall picked up both victories in the circle, as sixth-ranked UCLA defeated San Diego State 3-1 and Cal Poly 4-0.
OSU Splits Second Day at DeMarini Invitational
FULLERTON, Calif. - For the second straight day the Oregon State softball team split its day-night double-header. The Beavers defeated the Golden Eagles of Southern Miss 1-0 in nine innings in the first game but fell to Northwestern in the night game by a final score of 3-2. The Beavers are now 7-6 on the season.
No. 7 ASU Lights-Out In Day Two of Wilson/DiMarini Invitational
TEMPE, Ariz. - Complete game shutouts from Mackenzie Popescue and Dallas Escobedo coupled with a huge 2-for-3 day with two runs scored and four RBIs with a home run from Mandy Urfer gave the No. 7 ASU Softball team the surge they needed as they collected two more wins Saturday night. The Sun Devils topped Northern Colorado 9-0(5) and New Mexico State 17-0(5). Popescue moves to 4-1 on the year as Escobedo holds at a perfect 9-0 while ASU moves to 16-1.

TUCSON - The fourth-ranked Arizona softball team improved to 18-2 on the season and 4-0 at the Wildcat Invitational with two wins Saturday vs. Minnesota and Idaho State.
No. 14 Cardinal Increase Win Streak To Eight
FULLERTON, Calif. - The 14th-ranked Stanford softball team defeated UCSB, 7-2, and Murray State, 14-2 in five innings, Saturday, at the DeMarini Invitational in Fullerton, Calif. The Cardinal, which has now won eight straight games, is 16-3 on the season. The Gauchos fell to 10-7, while the Racers dropped to 2-8.

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. - After a thrilling extra inning game to start the doubleheader in which the Huskies won 7-4, UW took control of game two against New Mexico, getting the victory, 11-2 in six innings on Saturday night.
No Hitter Leads Cal to 8-0 Win Vs. Murray State
Fullerton, CALIF. - Behind a no-hitter performance from sophomore right-hander Jolene Henderson, the No. 10/11 California softball team easily handled Murray State for an 8-0 win on Saturday afternoon. Henderson pitched the complete six-inning game for her second-ever no hitter, helping the Golden Bears (12-2) shutout the Racers (2-7).

ORLANDO, Fla. - The No. 13 University of Oregon softball team (16-3) won a battle between Super Regional returnees Saturday afternoon with its 5-2 comeback win over No. 17 Louisiana-Lafayette (17-2).
