FULLERTON, Calif. - Behind sophomore Teagan Gerhart's 14 strikeouts, the No. 14/16 Stanford softball team downed Cal State Northridge, 8-2, Sunday, in the final game of the DeMarini Invitational in Fullerton, Calif. The Cardinal improved to 17-3 on the season, while the Matadors dropped to 7-12.
Beavers Fall to Titans 3-2
FULLERTON, Calif. - The Oregon State softball team fell in its finale at the DeMarini Invitational to host team Cal State Fullerton by a final score of 3-2 Sunday afternoon. The Titans pushed the winning run across on a walk-off single down the left field line.
Cats Complete Sweep of Wildcat Invitational
No. 4 Arizona improved to 19-2 on the season while completing a five-game sweep of the Wildcat Invitational with an 8-0 win in five innings Saturday in the tournament-finale.
Lesley Rogers Leads No. 7 Softball to a Win Over Creighton
TEMPE, Ariz. - A perfect 3-for-3 day with a home run and four RBIs from Lesley Rogers as a highlight marked the close of the 2011 Wilson/DiMarini Invitational Sunday afternoon as the No. 7 Sun Devil Softball team topped Creighton 11-1 (5). Dallas Escobedo took the win to push to 10-0 on the year as ASU improves to 17-1 on the year and extends their winning streak to 13 games.
No. 5/6 Huskies Complete Sweep In New Mexico
ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. - Head coach Heather Tarr and the Huskies enjoyed another mercy rule victory, completing the sweep over New Mexico with a 12-3 victory in six innings on Sunday afternoon. The No. 5/6 Huskies improve to 16-0 on the season. New Mexico falls to 5-7.

ORLANDO, Fla. - The No. 13 University of Oregon softball team (18-4) topped lllinois State (11-8) Sunday by a 6-0 score in six innings, and beat its fourth NCAA tourney returnee of the weekend in final day action in the Citrus Classic at Disney World.
