Cal Wins 2nd NCAA Crown in 3 Years
AUSTIN, Texas - A season-long dedication to excellence culminated in California capturing its second team title in three years in the NCAA Championships at the Lee and Joe Jamail Texas Swimming Center. The Golden Bears clinched their team victory by taking third place in the 400-yard freestyle relay, the last race of the meet, and collecting a school-record 424 points to edge second-place Georgia (394.5 points). USC finished third (351) and Stanford was fourth (272).
USC 3rd, Hosszu Swimmer Of Meet At NCAAs
Junior Katinka Hosszu became just the second Trojan woman to win three NCAA titles in the same year while senior Lyndsay DePaul finished her career as a 2011 three-time finalist, as USC finished third overall on the final day of the NCAA Swimming and Diving Championships at Texas' Jamail Swim Center in Austin on Saturday (March 19).

California won the national team title with 424 total points, Georgia was second with 394.5. USC finished third with 351 points while Stanford was fourth with 272.
