This Week in Pac-10 Softball

The second weekend of Pac-10 Conference play begins this weekend. ARIZONA and UCLA came out unscathed after the first weekend of action and are now 3-0 to sit atop the Conference rankings. The Wildcats will travel to Oregon State this weekend and UCLA hosts STANFORD, who is looking for its first Pac-10 win. CALIFORNIA travels to WASHINGTON and ARIZONA STATE visits OREGON STATE. Arizona sophomore pitcher Kenzie Fowler was named USA Softball Collegiate Player of the Week, earning her first national weekly honor of the season. Seven of eight Pac-10 teams still ranked nationally, with Arizona State leading the way in third.
